terms
the deal
frolu helps you find and start small, casual plans around bondi — a run, a swim, a walk, a coffee, a game. by using the app or this website you agree to these terms and to our privacy notes. frolu is operated by [legal name and ABN to be added], new south wales, australia.
who can use it
- you must be 18 or over.
- one account per person, with your real first name and a photo of you (or none).
- you sign in with a code sent to your email. keep access to that email to yourself.
being a good regular
- be kind, and be who you say you are.
- plans meet in public places. never ask anyone to meet at a home.
- no selling, recruiting or promoting in plans or chats.
- no harassment, hate, threats, or sharing someone's details or photos without their ok.
- if you say you're going and can't, say so — it's a small group.
- report or block anyone who makes you uncomfortable. we look at every report.
we can remove plans, messages or accounts that break these rules, without notice if we need to.
plans and listings
plans are started by people, not by frolu, and community listings point to groups run by their own organisers. we don't run, supervise or check them, and times and details can change — the host or organiser has the last word. any cost is between you and them.
looking after yourself
you take part at your own risk and you're responsible for your own safety. ocean swims, runs and coastal walks have real risks: swim between the flags or with people who know the water, know your limits, and leave whenever you like. tell someone where you're going.
what you share
you own what you post. you let us show it in frolu so the app works (for example, your plan's photo on its page, or its shared link on this website). don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
the app itself
frolu is in testing and may change, break or pause. we try to keep it running well but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. nothing in these terms limits your rights under the australian consumer law.
to the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for what happens at a plan, or for loss caused by other people using frolu.
leaving
you can delete your account in the app at any time, and everything tied to it is deleted (see privacy). we may close an account that breaks these terms.
changes and contact
if these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app first. they're governed by the laws of new south wales. questions: hello@frolu.app.
